Day Laborer Outreach

The CALMA Day Laborer Outreach Program brings volunteers to meet with day laborers on the first Saturday of each month at various sites in the Bay Area. Our goal is to provide resources that help inform them of their rights in and outside of the workplace. We often have clothing and work boots available and we serve warm food and provide snacks while engaging in conversations and listening to their needs and stories. Individual needs vary from food security, housing resources, immigration services, and health services. We do our best to connect each person to accessible community resources.

We rely on donations of food and clothing to keep our program running successfully. If you would like to donate, or want to join us on the first Saturday of every month please email daylaborer@calmaofficial.org.
